How Mighty is the Oak? The Mighty Oak is one the BEST trees to plant in a home landscape. It grows fast in spite of the slow growing reputation. Tulsa Landscape has planted many vareities but our favorite choice is the Shumard Red Oak.

It's Not so HOT, But My Poor Lawn
Every August, cool season lawns look pretty bleak in Oklahoma. I guess the term, "Cool Season Lawn" should give it away. The best practice is in September to Overseed the damaged turf, predominantly Tall Fescue, to create a full lawn.

Proper scheduling can do more save water (which is money) than anything short of rain. Most Automatic Sprinkler systems waste water due to improper scheduling. Studies have shown as much as 40% of the water is wasted.
